Air purifier repair, service, and parts

We repair, service, and supply parts for air purifiers across London and Southwestern Ontario, and have done so since 1999 - portable units, whole-home systems, and the electronic air cleaners that have been running in homes here for twenty years. Tell us the model and what it is doing, and we will tell you what it needs.

What a repair or service visit covers

Three things happen on every visit, in this order.

Step 1

We look at it, at your house

We open the unit and check the lamp, the collection cell, and the filters — plus how it is installed and where it sits in the airflow. A system fitted badly fifteen years ago will underperform no matter how new the filter is.

Step 2

Small jobs happen there and then

A filter change, a lamp, a cell that needs rinsing, a check that it is running as it should. That is done on the spot and the unit stays where it is.

Step 3

Real work comes back with us

Anything past a clean and a consumable goes back to our shop, where the parts, the tools, and the bench are. Nothing leaves your house without you knowing, and we tell you what we think it needs before it goes.

What we repair and service

Residential and light commercial equipment across London and Southwestern Ontario.

  • Whole-home, duct-mounted purifiers
  • Portable and room units
  • True HEPA filtration systems
  • UV-C and photocatalytic (PCO) systems
  • Electronic air cleaners and electrostatic cells
  • Furnace and HVAC filtration
  • HRVs and ERVs
  • Humidifiers and dehumidifiers

If you are not sure which of these your system is, ask anyway. We keep working on equipment long after it has left the catalog - a unit we fitted in 2003 is still a unit we know.

Not sure what you have?

If you inherited a system with the house, or yours has been running quietly for fifteen years, start here.

Systems we sell now

If a repair no longer makes sense, the current line-up is on the air purifiers page, and we will talk about a trade-in allowance on what you already own.

Filters, lamps, and consumables

Most of what a system needs is a part, not a technician.

UV lamps

The Platinum PCO and the Platinum Carbon UV take the same replacement lamp, so one part covers both. The Platinum PURE is the exception — it takes a different one.

Filters

HEPA, carbon, and pre-filters for current systems and for the whole RespirAide series. Filters and parts are interchangeable across the RespirAide models.

Cell cleaner

For the washable collection cells in the electronic units. A clean cell is the single biggest thing you can do for one of these yourself.

Service visits are within the area we install in. Filters, lamps, and parts we ship anywhere in North America - so if you have moved away, your system can still be kept running.

Between visits

Do it yourself

The electronic collection cells in the RespirAide and SaviAir units are washable, and doing it on schedule is most of what keeps them working. We publish the full instructions rather than holding them back — a customer who maintains their own unit still calls us when it needs a part.

Common questions

Tell us the model and what it is doing.

Most of what comes in needs a filter, a lamp, or a cleaning rather than a repair - and we will tell you honestly when a unit is past the point of being worth it.
