Previous air purifier models
If you inherited an air purifier with the house, or yours has been running quietly for fifteen years and you have no idea what it is, this is the page. We still stock filters and parts for most of what we have sold since 1999, and our technicians still service them.
Look for a model name on the front panel or a serial plate on the back. Tell us what it says and we will tell you what fits it — or send a photo and we will identify it for you.
Send us a photo →What we have sold and what we can still get
Every model below is one we can still help with. What differs is how much of it we can still get hold of, so the status is on each one rather than buried in the description.
Duct-mounted — no longer sold, lamps stocked
Platinum Carbon UV
Lamps stockedThe middle of the three, and the one most people have. American-made, lifetime warranty, validated to produce no ozone, and tested by Airmid Healthgroup against micro-organisms and VOCs. We no longer sell the system — the Platinum PURE replaced it — but the lamps are on the shelf and our technicians still service it.
Platinum PCO
Lamps stockedThe original. One of the first PCO systems built into a furnace, and the first to carry a lifetime warranty. Superseded first by the Platinum Carbon UV, and then by the Platinum PURE. No longer sold, but the lamps are stocked and we still service it.
Portable — no longer sold, still serviced
RespirAide 400T
Parts and filters stockedThe last and best of the series. Six stages: pre-filter, electrostatic collection cell, VOC carbon filter, dual UV lamps, photocatalytic filter, and a negative ion generator, with indicator lights and a remote. Also sold as the Surgically Clean Air Carbon Granite SCA4000R — if that is the name on your unit, this is the one. Replaced by the RPS 600S.
RespirAide 300T
Parts and filters stockedThe same design as the 200T with improved internal electronics. Filters and parts are interchangeable across the RespirAide series.
RespirAide 200T
Parts and filters stockedThe first of the series to add UV light and a photocatalytic filter, and a step up from the SaviAir 5000 on airflow, construction, and the remote.
SaviAir 5000 and SaviAir 500
Filters stocked — some parts no longer madeWe sold the SaviAir 5000 more than fifteen years ago and still service a great many of them. Filters we have in quantity. Several of the main mechanical parts are no longer manufactured, so a repair is not always possible — worth a call before you plan around it. The SaviAir 500 was the desktop model, given free with a 5000 in the early 2000s.
Looking for what we sell now?
These are current systems, not previous models. If you are replacing rather than repairing, start here - and ask about the trade-in allowance on the unit you already own.
Tell us the model and what it is doing. Most of what comes in needs a filter, a lamp, or a cleaning rather than a repair - and we will tell you honestly when a unit is past the point of being worth it.
Still running? We can probably keep it running.
The electronic collection cells in the RespirAide and SaviAir units are washable, and doing it on schedule is most of what keeps them working.
