This Ultravation UVCataylst replacement UV lamp is designed to last 2 to 3 years of use depending on the replacement lamp purchased. After lifespan, the effectiveness of the Ultraviolet (UV) light declines, and replacement is recommended. Our Platinum PURE replacement lamp does not produce harmful ozone.
