The MedicAir® Pro takes one cartridge that holds the pre-filter, HEPA, carbon, and UV-C bulb together.

MedicAir® Pro vs IQAir®: common questions
What is an alternative to the IQAir® HealthPro® Plus?
The MedicAir® Pro. Like the HealthPro® Plus, it is a portable air purifier with a HEPA filter and activated carbon. It adds a 24 W UV-C light and a PCO chamber, moves 605 m³/h at its highest speed against 300 cfm (510 m³/h) for the HealthPro® Plus XE, and takes one filter cartridge instead of three filters.
Does the IQAir® HealthPro® Plus have a UV-C light?
No. IQAir lists three filter stages for the HealthPro® Plus: a PreMax pre-filter, a V5-Cell gas and odor filter, and a HyperHEPA filter. The MedicAir® Pro adds a 24 W UV-C light and a PCO chamber to its HEPA H13 and carbon stages, and its UV-C lamp chamber does not produce ozone.
Does the MedicAir® Pro have an app and an air quality sensor?
Yes. It has an air quality sensor and an optional smartphone app, and its ReAKT mode changes the fan speed automatically when high levels of pollution are detected. A remote control is included. The HealthPro® Plus XE has a PM2.5 sensor, smart modes, and IQAir’s AirVisual app; the standard HealthPro® Plus runs from its control panel and a remote control.
How often do the filters need changing?
The MedicAir® Pro takes one all-in-one cartridge, rated for 5,000 hours or longer: about 9 months to a year, depending on use and environment. The HealthPro® Plus XE takes three separate filters, each on its own schedule; IQAir’s averages are 18 months for the pre-filter, 24 months for the gas and odor filter, and 48 months for the HyperHEPA filter.
How much does the MedicAir® Pro cost?
