Does the Austin Air HealthMate Plus® have a UV-C light?
No. Austin Air lists four filter stages for the HealthMate Plus®: a large-particle pre-filter, a medium-particle pre-filter, activated and potassium iodide-impregnated carbon with mineral-based filtration, and medical-grade HEPA. The MedicAir® Pro adds a 24 W UV-C light and a PCO chamber to its HEPA H13 and carbon stages, and its UV-C lamp chamber does not produce ozone.
